I feel like you’re responding to a different story. This isn’t about how rich people get rich, and if they do so in ethical ways. It’s about how money really doesn’t factor in when it comes to the things that really matter. Much of what you wrote may be correct, for all I know. But it’s hardly the point of my essay. It’d be like watching “Waiting for Godot” and then insisting the play is about how Godot exploits the working class.
